As a third-generation homebuilder, Glen Martin has developed a lifelong appreciation for craftsmanship, quality, and integrity.
Glen’s early career spanned residential, commercial, and industrial projects before advancing through leadership roles with Greenbriar Homes, Santa Clara Development, eventually becoming Division President of Standard Pacific Homes, and later Group President of Toll Brothers. In these executive roles, Glen was responsible for directing and managing all high-density multi-family, townhome, and single-family communities across Northern and Central California.
In the late-2000s, Glen founded Ne Terra Incognita, designing and managing projects in the Middle East, including luxury villas, and workforce single family and multi-family projects. Ne Terra Incognita also designed and managed complex projects in the oil and gas sector such as refinery expansions, and oil transportation and operation support facilities for the top international oil companies.
In 2015, Glen acquired Pacific InterWest Building Consultants (PIW), building on its foundation in risk mitigation and QA/QC inspections, while expanding the company’s services. Under his leadership, PIW introduced inspections to meet California Senate Bills 721 and 326 for the safety of exterior elevated elements, added Title 24 compliance and HERS testing services, and UAS inspection technology.
In 2024, after many years of collaboration, Glen helped merge PIW with Avila Real Estate Capital, a private real estate capital firm, where he serves as Managing Director, overseeing all aspects of land acquisition, entitlements, and development.
Glen has chaired the CBIA’s Construction Codes and Energy Committee, the Public Utilities Task Force, and the Building Standards Institute. He also served on the board of HomeAid - Northern California for many years, contributing to the Tiny Home Program, and is a longtime supporter of the California Homebuilding Foundation and the BITA program.
Glen earned his Business Administration degree from California State University, Chico. He and his wife, Amani, enjoy spending time with their four children and three grandchildren.
