Empowering Students and Building Futures

At the California Homebuilding Foundation, we’re proud to manage more than 125 scholarship endowments established by homebuilding professionals, families, businesses, and organizations who share a passion for advancing the building industry.

Our scholarships provide financial assistance and recognition to students pursuing higher education in fields related to homebuilding—whether their goals are to become skilled tradespeople, architects, engineers, or future industry leaders.

As the cost of education continues to rise, many students face significant financial barriers. The Foundation is committed to helping remove those barriers through scholarships for students enrolled in building-related programs who demonstrate financial need, maintain strong academic performance, and aspire to careers in California’s homebuilding industry.

2025 Scholarship Opportunities

Scholarship Eligibility and Awards - How to Apply

Eligible applicants must be currently enrolled at one of our participating colleges or universities, pursuing an associate, bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in a construction- or homebuilding-related field.

Scholarship funds can be used for tuition, fees, books, materials, housing, or other unmet student needs. Awards typically range from $2,500 to $20,000, providing meaningful support to deserving students.

Applications are open in February and remain available through November.
