JOHN MARTIN

Martin & Associates

John Martin is the founder and principal of Martin & Associates. Prior to starting Martin & Associates, John held senior executive positions with Mission Viejo Company, the Irvine Company and Newhall Land. He was also a land developer and homebuilder for 15 years.

Martin & Associates provides market research, strategic planning and consulting and advisory services to master planned community developers from Florida to Hawaii and serving as the operating manager in the pre-development and processing of active adult communities in central California.

John is the first recipient of the Tipton Award for Marketing Excellence in Southern California and is the former President of the Sales and Marketing Council of Orange and Los Angeles Counties. He was honored in 1997 as a Legend of Residential Marketing by the National Association of Home Builders.

For over forty years, John has participated in education programs at PCBC® and since 1996, John has lectured and taught at major universities and conferences across the nation on residential real estate, strategic planning, and the planning, development and marketing of master planned communities.
